Gilles Labranche

Gilles Labranche is an experienced professional in the cultural and entertainment financing sectors, currently serving as a Mentor for the Focus SODEC acceleration program at Zú since September 2022. Gilles has been the Manager of Investments at the Fonds d'Investissement de la Culture et des Communications (FICC) since March 2012, supporting both for-profit and non-profit enterprises in Québec's cultural content industry. Previous roles include mentoring in various acceleration programs at Zú, an account manager at La Financière des entreprises culturelles du Québec (FIDEC), and president of Blackwatch Financial Inc. Gilles’s extensive experience also includes key positions at BNP Paribas and TD Bank, coupled with a Master’s degree in administration from Université de Sherbrooke and a B.A.A. in finance from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM).
