Wiesław Nowak is the founder of ZUE S.A. and its main shareholder, owning currently 62,53% of the Company shares. He is a graduate of the Faculty of electrical engineering, automatics and It and electronics of the AGH university of Science and technology in Kraków, Poland.
His professional career commenced in 1982 in the Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne Sp. z o.o. in Kraków. In 1986-1990 he worked as a computerisation and communication coordinator at PGM „Śródmieście”. In 1991, while still acting in the field of electronics and radio communication, he established Zakład Urządzeń Energoelektronicznych Radiotech, and gradually expanded the enterprise’s activity by the designing and production of traffic lights, as well as participating in many prestigious projects in the area of Kraków. In 2000 Wiesław Nowak acquired the shares of the PREFTOR S.A. road and railway construction company. In 2000-2004 he acted as the chairman of PREFTOR S.A.
In July 2002 he founded Zakłady Usług Energetycznych i Komunikacyjnych grupa ZUE S.A. (nowadays ZUE S.A.), into which the property of Zakład Urządzeń Energoelektronicznych Radiotech was contributed in kind. Since the establishment of ZUE S.A, he has acted as the president of the Management Board and Managing Director.
