Kathy Orchen

Kathy Orchen has extensive work experience in program coordination and quality assurance. From 2006 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Program Coordinator at Rutgers University's Department of Nutritional Sciences and Cooperative Extension, where they managed program and participant data for various projects and prepared reports for submission to University, State, and Federal entities. Kathy also supervised and trained volunteer nutrition educators. In 2015, Kathy joined Zufall Health Center as a Quality Assurance Program Manager and later took on the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator. In these positions, they were responsible for coordinating and evaluating the organization's quality assurance program, preparing data reports, and providing recommendations for data reporting to enhance healthcare delivery.

Kathy Orchen pursued their education in various fields throughout their career. In 1974, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pre-Med/Nutritional Sciences from The Ohio State University. Following this, from 1979 to 1981, Kathy earned a Master's of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan - School of Public Health, specializing in Nutrition, Program Planning and Evaluation, and International Health.

To further enhance their medical expertise, Kathy attended the Bowman Gray School of Medicine from 1984 to 1986 and obtained a Physician Assistant Certificate. Kathy'scommitment to continuous learning led their to Columbia University, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from 2017 to 2020.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Kathy holds a certification as a Physician Assistant from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. The specific timeframe of when they obtained this certification is not provided.
