Senior Vice President - Behavioral Health Services at Zufall Health

Sarah Aleman has over 12 years of work experience in the field of social work. From 2010 to the present, they have been working at Zufall Health Center, where they started as a Behavioral Health Social Worker. In this role, they provided outpatient counseling to individuals, couples, and families, conducted assessments, diagnosed patients, developed treatment plans, and facilitated various groups. Sarah also supervised interns and LSWs working towards their clinical license. In February 2016, they were promoted to Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker, expanding their responsibilities to include developing curricula and facilitating support groups for mental health, healthy lifestyles, and breast cancer. Sarah also facilitated Spanish-speaking support groups and held various positions within the organization, including shelter advocate and transitional living program case manager.

Sarah Aleman, MSW, LCSW completed their education in the field of Social Work. Sarah obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 2004 to 2008. Their high school education was completed at Morris Hills High School from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their degrees, Sarah has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Sarah has completed a 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training program at Jersey Battered Women's Service, Inc (JBWS). Sarah also holds a Certificate in Clinical Supervision from Family Intervention Services, Inc. Moreover, they have acquired a Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) Certification from Rutgers University. The specific months and years for when these certifications were obtained were not provided.
