Christopher Schmitt

Christopher Schmitt is an experienced data science professional currently serving as Lead Data Scientist and People Lead at Zühlke Group since August 2021, previously holding the position of Expert Data Scientist. Prior to Zühlke Group, Christopher worked at Daimler AG as a Data Scientist from August 2018 to July 2021 and at Vodafone Kabel Deutschland GmbH in the same role from March 2016 to July 2018. Christopher's academic background includes a PhD candidacy at Universität Tübingen, focusing on data analysis for particle physics experiments, where supervision of Master and Bachelor students and teaching a physics lab course for medical students were also undertaken. Earlier experience includes an internship at Berkeley Lab, concentrating on low background particle physics and characterization of Germanium detectors. Christopher earned a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Tübingen and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Università di Trento.
