Jacob Polden

Jacob Polden is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and architectural design. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant and People Lead at Zühlke Group since November 2020, Jacob has led the architectural design of scalable solutions and facilitated organizational transitions to distributed architectures. Previously, Jacob worked as a Senior Consultant at Valtech, delivering high-quality digital solutions in Agile environments, and held roles at RIBA, where design and implementation of digital services were key focus areas. Jacob’s career began at Orcare Limited, progressing from Software Developer to Development Lead, specializing in Umbraco and .NET frameworks. Jacob holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and IT from The Open University and has completed a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software Development.
