Paul van den Hurk is a seasoned expert in sustainable mobility and logistics, currently serving as a freelance consultant and advisor for various municipalities in the Netherlands, including Rotterdam, Dordrecht, Gouda, and Zaanstad. With a strong focus on the transition to electric delivery vehicles and the implementation of Zero Emission Zones, Paul has developed and utilized tools such as the E-delivery advisory tool and conducted fleet scans for companies. Paul possesses a robust network in the Rotterdam Rijnmond and Gouda regions, and has contributed to numerous projects aimed at promoting efficient and low-emission logistics. Het is druk in Zuid-Holland. Hoe houden we onze regio bereikbaar? Want er worden de komende jaren nog zo’n 200 duizend woningen bijgebouwd en veel bruggen en tunnels hebben dringend groot onderhoud nodig. Dat leidt tot extra drukte. Als we niets doen, staan we in Zuid-Holland nog vaker stil. Daarom bundelen acht publieke organisaties hun krachten in de samenwerkingsorganisatie Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar. In ons uitvoeringsprogramma leiden we het verkeer in goede banen en stemmen we per gebied onze werkzaamheden op elkaar af. Tegelijkertijd helpen we bewoners en bedrijven te kiezen voor slimme en duurzame manieren van reizen en vervoer. Zo houden we met elkaar – overheden, (transport)bedrijven, werkgevers, bezoekers én bewoners – Zuid-Holland in beweging.
