Jerric Garcia is an experienced HR professional with a career spanning over a decade in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Regional People and Culture Manager for Zuma in the UAE since November 2014, Jerric has previously held positions including HR Manager, Assistant HR Manager, and HR and Recruitment Coordinator within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as HR & Recruitment Coordinator at Groupon UAE from November 2011 to November 2014, focusing on recruitment strategies and candidate screening, and as a Recruitment Consultant at Icon Management Consultancy from 2008 to 2011, where Jerric managed client accounts and coordinated headhunting efforts. Jerric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the United School of Science and Technology, obtained between 2002 and 2005.

Zuma
ZUMA was co-founded by Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney in 2002. The first ZUMA restaurant to open was in London’s fashionable Knightsbridge area and remains the brand’s flagship. All of ZUMA’s management and chefs are extensively trained in London before working in ZUMA’s international locations. The Dubai venture was the fourth site to open in the Group’s expansion plan, the most recent sites being Miami in 2010 and Bangkok in 2011. Over the next few years, Zuma will be looking to continue opening new restaurants in some of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities.
