Lance Merrell

Lance Merrell is an experienced professional in continuous improvement and quality engineering with a career spanning several decades in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Director of Continuous Improvement at Zumbiel Packaging since March 2017, Lance has previously held significant roles, including Director of Product Quality Engineering at Newell Brands, where technical support was provided for multiple manufacturing facilities, and Director of R&D/Quality at The United States Playing Card Company, focusing on product quality and process enhancements. Earlier roles included Technical Manager at Champion International, overseeing various manufacturing process improvements, and Senior Technical Sales Representative at Hercules Paper Chemicals. Lance holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Paper Science from Western Michigan University.
