Vineeth Akkinapalli

Vineeth Akkinapalli started their work experience in 2018 as a Project Intern at L&T Technology Services Limited. In 2019, they joined Drive Analytics and worked as a Computer Vision Developer. Vineeth worked on several Proof of Concepts (POCs) including Brand detection in IPL games, Golf ball tracking, and Human body pose estimation with detection and segmentation. Vineeth also developed an end-to-end pipeline for calculating human body measurements using 3D modeling. In 2020, Vineeth joined Zumen Inc as a Machine Learning Developer. Vineeth developed Flask Python REST APIs for serving machine learning models and used AWS Machine Learning services like Sagemaker for model training. Vineeth worked on fine-tuning and testing state-of-the-art models in table detection, OCR, scene text detection, and object detection.

Vineeth Akkinapalli pursued a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing Kancheepuram, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Vineeth attended Master IIT academy for Intermediate education, although the specific years are not available. Additionally, Vineeth has obtained several certifications, including Python from HackerRank in September 2020, Django 3 from Udemy in May 2020, Practical Machine Learning with Tensorflow from NPTEL in November 2019, Programming in C++ from NPTEL in October 2019, Data Science for Engineers from NPTEL in March 2019, and Introduction to Internet of Things from NPTEL in October 2018.
