Tariq Ahmed

Tariq Ahmed has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. Tariq began their career in 2009 as an E-commerce Project Coordinator for Addr.com, Inc. and also served as a Business Development Consultant for DoubleSpring Media. In 2010, they joined Amazon as Manager of Transaction Risk Management Systems. In 2014, they moved to Western Union as Digital Fraud Product, Strategy and Analytics Leader, where they were responsible for leading a global team of Product Owners/Managers and accountable for the delivery of account funded services and digital KYC in Canada. Currently, they serve as Managing Director, Canada for Zumigo Inc., a position they have held since 2020.

Tariq Ahmed holds a B.TECH in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Tariq also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in July 2016.
