Tingshen Yan

Tingshen Yan has a solid work history in software engineering. In 2014, they started as a Web Developer at The Sankofa Center, where they implemented a web crawler and designed an interactive stores' distribution map. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at 2RedBeans.com as a Software Engineer and Project Lead. Tingshen developed an Android app from scratch and released it on the Google Play store using React Native and Redux. Additionally, they designed and implemented RESTful APIs for mobile clients and integrated in-app purchases. At Indiegogo, where they worked from 2016 to 2019 as a Software Engineer (Payment), they contributed to a payment system migration project and led a scrum team in processing 9 years of payment data. Tingshen also integrated with Stripe APIs and built bank forms to support multi-currency payments. Currently, since 2019, Tingshen Yan has been working as a Software Engineer at Zuora.

Tingshen Yan holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which was obtained from Northeastern University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Yan completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Zhuhai College of Jilin University, from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to formal education, Yan has acquired several additional certifications. In March 2014, Yan obtained the "M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers" certification from MongoDB. In February 2014, Yan obtained the "Computing for Data Analysis" certification from Coursera. Other certifications include "Machine Learning" from Coursera (obtained in October 2013) and "Beginning Game Programming with C#" from Coursera (obtained in September 2013).
