Valerie Jackson serves as Zuora’s Chief People Officer, leading the company's people teams and strategy across its global footprint. She has built and led people and culture initiatives in global, billion dollar companies for nearly 20 years in the technology and legal industries. Prior to entering the HR field, Valerie began her career as a corporate finance lawyer representing public companies, and as an international policy advisor and negotiator for the U.S. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. A lifelong student of people and cultures, Valerie has lived in six countries and can communicate in several languages. Actively licensed to practice law in Georgia, Valerie earned her undergraduate degree in Government/International Relations cum laude from Harvard University and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Valerie is also an executive coach and International Coaching Federation member who has trained with the Hudson Institute, Co-Active Training Institute and Gallup, and is a certified Reiki Master in the state of California.
