Venkat Venkataraman

Venkat Venkataraman has a strong and diverse work experience in technical operations and systems administration. Venkat currently holds the position of VP, Technical Operations at Zuora since October 2018. Before that, they served in various roles at Shutterfly, Inc., including Sr Director, Internet Operations from February 2017 to September 2018, Director, Internet Operations from February 2015 to January 2017, Sr Manager, Internet Operations from February 2013 to January 2015, and Technical Lead/Manager, Internet Operations from September 2008 to January 2013. Prior to that, Venkat worked at AOL LLC as a Principal Systems Engineer from October 2003 to September 2008 and as a Senior Systems Engineer from October 1999 to October 2003. Venkat had previous experience at Netscape Communications Corp. as a Unix System Administrator from October 1997 to October 1999. Venkat also worked as a Consultant at Sun Microsystems from April 1997 to September 1997, providing systems software and hardware support, as well as system and network administration support for trade shows. Venkat'searly experience includes working as a Consultant at Intel Corporation, where they designed and implemented web interfaces and developed tools in Perl for Intel customers. Venkat started their career as a Unix System Administrator at the National Centre for Software Technology (NCST) / C-DAC in Mumbai, India from January 1993 to June 1996.

Venkat Venkataraman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bharathiar University, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they pursued further education at the National Centre for Software Technology (NCST) / C-DAC, Mumbai, India, from 1993 to 1994, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology (PGDST).
