Sten Eskil Damgaard Rasmussen

Sten Eskil Damgaard Rasmussen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in capital markets law and corporate compliance. Currently serving as Legal Counsel Expert in Capital Markets at Zürcher Kantonalbank, Sten provides expert legal advice on equity capital markets (ECM) and debt capital markets (DCM) activities. Previously, Sten held significant roles at Swiss Re, including Head of Corporate Centre Advisory, where responsibilities spanned legal advisory for various corporate functions and management of the Capital Markets Finance legal team. Sten's earlier experience includes roles at Bär & Karrer AG, UBS, and the European Commission, emphasizing expertise in M&A transactions, corporate and commercial law, and financial market regulations. Sten holds a Master of Laws from UCL, a Licentiate degree in Law from Université de Fribourg, and has completed the bar exam of the Canton of Zurich.
