Carsten Schildknecht

Carsten Schildknecht currently serves as CEO of Zurich Gruppe Deutschland, a position held since February 2018. Prior experience includes roles as an Investor and Senior Advisor for Fintechs from August 2016 to January 2018, and as Group Chief Operating Officer at Generali from April 2013 to July 2016. Additionally, Carsten served as Chief Operating Officer for Asset & Wealth Management at Deutsche Bank from November 2000 to March 2013 and began a career as a Consultant and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from November 1993 to October 2000. Academic qualifications include a Doctor's Degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur in the same field from the same institution.
