John A. Mascarello

John A. Mascarello currently serves as the Head of Litigation and Investigations for Latin America at Zurich Insurance Group, where responsibilities include managing a global framework for investigating reporting concerns in Latin America and overseeing investigations in Europe and the Middle East while implementing compliance remediation programs. Previously, John held roles such as Associate General Counsel at Goldman, Sachs & Co., providing legal counsel for institutional listed derivatives and equities, and Senior Counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, where efforts focused on enforcement proceedings and regulatory inquiries. Additional experience includes serving as Associate General Counsel at UBS Financial Services, where John managed internal investigations and regulatory matters, and as Trial Counsel at the New York Stock Exchange, where complex securities matters were investigated. John received a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
