Jorge Albornoz is a seasoned technology and operations leader with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Cloud & Architect Manager for the Latin America region at Zurich Insurance since September 2019. Previously, Albornoz held key roles including Regional Engagement Manager at MFX Services, where responsibilities included digital transformation and operational support across several Latin American countries. Albornoz has also served as CIO and Senior Advisor at Arsicom, Regional IT Head for Latin America at MetLife, and Regional Operations Head for Latin America at Liberty International, contributing to governance, strategy, and operational efficiency across multiple countries. Early career roles included IT leadership positions at Liberty Seguros and AIG, with a foundational role as IT Director at F.D.F., focusing on technology implementation in the scientific sector. Albornoz holds an MBA from Universidad de Chile, a Diplomado in Industrial Engineering, and a Civil Engineering degree in Computer and Information Systems.
