Pemba Norgay

Pemba Norgay has extensive experience in enterprise architecture and IT application development, currently serving as Enterprise Architect and Head of Commercial Insurance IT Application Engineering at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since January 2015, focusing on leadership, IT strategy, transformation, operations, and service management, along with cloud and DevOps methodologies. Prior to this role, Pemba worked as an Application Architect and Operational SME at Zurich Insurance from June 2012 to November 2014, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Man Group from September 2008 to December 2012, where responsibilities included IT application development and Scrum Master duties utilizing DevOps CI/CD practices. Pemba's earlier career as a Software Engineer at EDS Group from 1995 to 2006 involved application development and maintenance across various industries, including utilities and finance. Pemba completed education at Woodstock School and continues studies at the University of Montana from 1995 to the present.
