Valentina Fontanella

Valentina Fontanella currently serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Zurich Bank since May 2022 and has been the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Operations at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since July 1998. Throughout the extensive career at Zurich, Valentina has led initiatives in business change, program and project management, process efficiency, and digital transformation across various roles, including CIO of Enterprise Transformation & IT and Head of Business Transformation. Valentina possesses in-depth knowledge of the underwriting process, has implemented performance metrics, and is certified in the Zurich Lean approach, with a strong emphasis on data quality and customer service delivery. Additionally, Valentina has held multiple positions within the IT department, focusing on claims program management and IT-business relationships.
