Apekka Fernando-Watson

Apekka Fernando-Watson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Apekka currently works as a Consumer Insights Lead for Zurn Elkay Water Solutions since February 2021. Prior to this, Apekka served as a Research and Insights Consultant from July 2020 to February 2021 with an undisclosed company.

In 2019, they held the position of Manager Insights and Analytics at Aspen Dental from August 2019 to July 2020. Before joining Aspen Dental, Apekka worked as a Senior Marketing Research Analyst at CNH Industrial from October 2016 to July 2019.

Apekka started their career journey at Quantum Consumer Solutions in June 2012, where they worked as an Associate Research Manager until October 2016. During the same period, from January 2010 to October 2016, they also worked as a Freelance Writer/Editor for various clients.

Apekka'searlier roles include working as an Editor at the Institute Of Policy Studies Of Sri Lanka from May 2012 to October 2013, as well as serving as a Senior Manager for HIV/AIDS & Advocacy at the Family Planning Association Sri Lanka from February 2010 to August 2011.

Apekka began their career as a Journalist at the Daily Mirror Newspaper in August 2009, where they worked until February 2010.

Apekka Fernando-Watson obtained a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Social Anthropology from The University of Manchester between the years 2003 and 2006.
