Jonathan Chong

Jonathan Chong has over 20 years of work experience in the field of industrial design engineering. Jonathan started their career at Buddy Products as a Design Engineer in 1997 and then moved on to Marvel Group Inc. in 1998, where they worked as a Product Design Development Engineer. In 2005, Jonathan joined Elkay Manufacturing as a Sr. R&D Engineer and later transitioned to Zurn Elkay Water Solutions in 2008, where they currently hold the position of Lead Industrial Design Engineer. In this role, they utilize Design Thinking practices to deliver functional and emotionally connected solutions for unmet needs. Jonathan also conducts market research and insights to analyze consumer needs and market trends. Jonathan has experience in leading, mentoring, and managing students, design interns, and co-op programs.

Jonathan Chong earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University, where they attended from 1994 to 1997.
