Yury Derbasov

Yury Derbasov has over 10 years of work experience in the tech industry. Yury began their career in 2010 as a Senior Java Developer at Lanit. In 2011, they moved to Deutsche Bank in the same role. Yury then joined TCS Bank in 2013 as a Lead Application Developer. In 2014, they became a Lead System Architect at Sberbank-Technology. In 2019, they founded Gagarin.network, where they developed a fast and efficient private blockchain. In 2021, they joined Zus (ex 0chain) as a tech lead and was soon promoted to Director of Engineering, where they built three distributed engineering teams and delivered the ZUS blockchain to production.

Yury Derbasov received a Master's degree in IT from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) in 2008. Yury also obtained a Master's degree in Cybernetics from the same university in 2008. Yury also has a certification from Oracle as an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6.
