Janice Foster

Janice Foster is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Energy and previously as Technical Director of Energy Generation at Zutari since July 2020. Prior to this role, Janice held various positions at Aurecon, including Technical Director of Energy Generation, Associate Renewable Energy, and Renewable Energy Engineer from August 2014 to July 2020. Janice also served as Chairperson at The Hope Network from 2012 to 2015 and worked as a Project Manager at Windlab Developments South Africa from April 2012 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Component Engineer at Eskom - Koeberg Nuclear Power Station from January 2007 to March 2012, and as an MPhil student in Engineering for Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge from 2008 to 2009. Janice's background also includes leadership as a Project Leader with SHAWCO from 2004 to 2006. Janice holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (HONS) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, with further education from IESE Business School planned for March to July 2024.
