Edwin van Den Oever

Edwin van den Oever's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Edwin is currently the Director Corporate Solutions at Zwitserleven, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at WTW as the Managing Director LifeSight Netherlands from May 2017 to April 2023, and as the Manager of Business Development & Sales for LifeSight Netherlands from July 2014 to May 2017. Before joining WTW, Edwin worked at Nationale-Nederlanden as a Senior Relationship Manager for Corporate Clients and as a Senior Strategic Relationship Manager from June 2013 to July 2014. Edwin also served as an Account Manager for Corporate Clients at Nationale-Nederlanden from 2004 to 2010.

Edwin van den Oever has a varied education history. Edwin attended Sg Spieringshoek from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained their VWO degree. Edwin then went on to Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2012, they pursued a postgraduate program in Strategic Marketing, Sales, and Account Management at ISAM | Institute for Sales And Marketing.

To further their knowledge in the field, Edwin completed various additional certifications. In 2004, they received the Gecertificeerd Pensioen Adviseur (CPA) certification from Akkermans & Partners, which focused on the fiscal, juridical, and actuarial aspects of pension. In 2009, they obtained the UEFA C license from KNVB, demonstrating their expertise in soccer coaching.

Recently, Edwin has continued their education by attending the Willis Towers Watson Academy in 2017, where they completed a Pension Fund Governance - Geschiktheidsniveau A program. Edwin also participated in the Emerging Leadership Program at Willis Towers Watson from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Organizational Leadership.

Furthermore, Edwin has taken a variety of courses through NIBE-SVV Opleidingen. In 2014, they completed the WFT Pensioenverzekeringen program, which provided him with knowledge on transparent and appropriate collective and DGA pension advice. Edwin also attended NIBE-SVV Opleidingen for several modules including WFT basis module, WFT-Beleggen/DSI Financieel adviseur (focused on investment advice and asset management), and WFT Leven algemeen (covering life and pension insurance).

Additionally, Edwin underwent training at Boertien Vergouwen Overduin in 2013 to enhance their skills as an effective advisor. Edwin also participated in Open Onderhandelen - Onderhandelingstechniek course at Frits Philips jr & Partners B.V. in 2009.

In the future, Edwin is planning to enroll in the Netspar Pensioen Innovatie Programma at TIAS School for Business and Society, set to take place from 2023 to 2024.
