Alejandra Buitrago Castro

Alejandra Buitrago Castro has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. In their most recent role as the DTC Franchises & Expansion Lead at ZX Ventures starting in 2021, Alejandra is responsible for overseeing the expansion of the TaDa platform and ensuring successful growth in the market. Prior to this, they held the position of TaDa Delivery Operations Lead from May 2022 to June 2023, where they focused on planning and aligning financial, commercial, and legal areas for the expansion project. As a Senior Marketing & Retail Controller from April 2019 to December 2019, they were responsible for managing and analyzing the marketing and retail budget, quantifying objectives, and proposing solutions. In their role as a Financial Controller from February 2017 to March 2019, Alejandra oversaw the control and analysis of commercial, financial, and operational indicators for the Cosmética Activa Division. Alejandra also contributed to the implementation of SAP R3 as a Key User in 2016.

Prior to their roles as a controller, Alejandra worked as a Control de Gestion Financiero Jr, responsible for monitoring sales indicators and approving commercial discounts, pricing lists, and client negotiations. Alejandra also held the role of Control de Gestion Financiero Jr for the Marketing/R&I department, where they controlled spending indicators and validated purchases and investments. In their earlier career, Alejandra started as an Analyst and later became an Analyst of Control Gestion Financiero/Comercial, focusing on sales tracking, agreement validation, and provision management. Alejandra began their professional journey with a summer internship as part of the Control Gestion Financiero team.

Alejandra Buitrago Castro completed their education at two different institutions. From 2009 to 2014, they attended the Politécnico Grancolombiano, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Faculty of Economics and Management. Additionally, they participated in an international exchange/simultaneous degree program in economics and international relations at FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado from 2011 to 2012. The specific field of study for this program was the Faculdade de Economia e Relações Internacionais.
