Christopher Robb

Christopher Robb is a highly experienced optical engineer with a strong background in optical metrology and precision engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Optical Engineer at ZYGO Corporation since September 2022, Robb specializes in Optical Metrology of Optics to Picometer Precision. Previously, Robb worked at Raytheon Intelligence & Space, where roles included Principal Research Engineer and Principal Physics Engineer, focusing on turret testing and telescope assembly for satellite applications. At II-VI Aerospace & Defense, Robb held the position of Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, emphasizing CNC polishing and process development. Earlier in their career, Robb contributed to the success of the JWST telescope at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. as an Optical Engineer, ensuring the integrity of mirror segments. Robb earned a Bachelor's degree in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona between 2000 and 2004.
