Robert Welsh

Robert Welsh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in acquisition management and operations within the defense sector. Currently serving as Sr Acquisition Manager and Program Analyst at ZYGOS Consulting LLC since May 2023, Welsh provides senior acquisition support to U.S. government initiatives. Previously, as Operations Director for Adaptive Acquisition Programs at Apogee Engineering, LLC from June 2022 to April 2023, Welsh led a directorate of over 240 personnel in support of the U.S. Air Force and USSTRATCOM, managing various technical and professional services. Prior to this role, Welsh was Sr Director of Operations at NCI Information Systems, Inc. from August 2018 to May 2021, overseeing a team of over 400 dedicated to enhancing Army operations through advanced scientific and technological support. Robert Welsh holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from New Mexico State University.
