Joe Woolery

Joseph Woolery is the Vice President of Clinical Development at Zymeworks Inc., where responsibilities include serving as Site Director for the Redwood City Office and leading clinical strategy for the Zymeworks portfolio since September 2019. Previously, Joseph held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Research, overseeing early-stage development in the Americas and leading the ZW49 global project. Experience also includes serving as Senior Medical Director for early-stage development and as Medical Director for the ZW49 ADC program. Prior to Zymeworks, Joseph worked at Seattle Genetics as Medical Director, Clinical Development, and Associate Medical Director, contributing to critical Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials. Joseph's earlier roles include positions at Banner M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Moffitt Cancer Center. Joseph obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rockhurst University.
