Meghan Verstraete

Meghan Verstraete is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in microbiology and immunology. Currently serving as a Scientist at Zymeworks Inc. since July 2019, Meghan has held prior positions as Associate Scientist and Senior Research Associate. Prior to Zymeworks, Meghan was a Scientist at Augurex Life Sciences Corp. from July 2018 to May 2019. Meghan earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of British Columbia (UBC), where also served as a Teaching Assistant for various microbiology and virology courses, and was recognized as an NSERC USRA Recipient. Additionally, Meghan has experience in records management and sales from earlier roles at Canamara United Supply. Meghan completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at UBC in 2012.
