Sabeen Mekan

Sabeen Mekan is an experienced senior executive in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Zymeworks Inc. since April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director, Global Development Lead for the Lung/GI Franchise at Gilead Sciences (April 2021 - April 2025), and Senior Medical Director in Oncology R&D at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. (April 2019 - April 2021). Sabeen Mekan also held the position of Medical Director for Oncology Clinical Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb (July 2016 - April 2019) and served as Medical Director at PAREXEL International (January 2015 - July 2016).
