Ian Forsythe

Ian Forsythe has held a variety of roles in the scientific research field. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Cornell Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant at Cornell Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics: Barbash Lab. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Laboratory Technician at Cornell University. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Sr. Research Support Specialist at Upstate Medical University, where they managed laboratory functions and product purchases, provided support to cellular biology research, and worked extensively in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and mouse handling. Lastly, from 2018 to present, they have been a Device Engineering Manager, Sr. Research Associate, and Research Associate at Zymo Research Corp.

Ian Forsythe received their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University in 2013, following their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological and Environmental Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2012.
