Janina Krumbeck, PhD has a diverse work experience beginning in 2010 when they worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University. In 2012 they began working as a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist and Graduate Student at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. In 2013 they were a Graduate Research Intern at Rush University Medical Center and in 2017 they were a Director of Microbiome Applications and Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at Zymo Research Corp. In 2018 they became the Director at MiDOG and in 2020 they became a Consultant at Pangea Laboratory.
Janina Krumbeck, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics, Cell & Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Genetics and Applied Microbiology from RWTH Aachen University in 2012. Janina also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biology, General from RWTH Aachen University in 2009.
