Pratima Bhuttarowas

Pratima Bhuttarowas, PhD, RN is a manager of clinical content with Zynx Health. She is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of products in the ZynxCare solution suite. She also oversees the utilization of performance and quality measures to ensure that Zynx solutions align with current regulatory measures and industry standards.

Pratima joined Zynx in 2005 as a clinical content developer. She was instrumental in establishing the Zynx content development methodology, ensuring rigor in studies selection, findings interpretation, and practice implication. She was part of the core team who brought ZynxCare to market and continues to play a major role in improving the quality of the core ZynxCare solution and the expansion of ZynxCare to provide evidence-based clinical decision support beyond the acute care setting.

Before joining Zynx, Pratima was a faculty of nursing at Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She taught and mentored students in various academic programs from undergraduate to doctorate level in the area of obstetrics and gynecology nursing, maternal and child health, women’s health, and midwifery. She also conducted research and provided community services with a focus on adolescent reproductive health and pregnancy prevention as well as health promotion during menopausal transition.

Pratima holds an MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, with a special focus on women’s health, and a PhD in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco.
