Alex Walbrun

Alex Walbrun has worked in the field of cyber security since 2008. Alex began their career in the US Marine Corps as a Tactical Data Systems Administrator. In 2013, they joined Quad/Graphics as Web Systems Administrator, where they managed over 150 web servers and 500+ web applications. In 2015, they moved to Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. as an Applications Analyst, where they performed Root Cause Analysis on high-priority issues. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Team Industrial Services as Senior IT Security Analyst and Team Lead, where they were responsible for handling all cyber security related incidents, developing strategies to mitigate risks, and implementing technical solutions to harden security. Currently, they are a Cyber Security Architect at Zyston LLC.

Alex Walbrun obtained a Bachelors of Information Sciences & Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 2012 and 2015, with a field of study in Information Technology.
