April Larsen

April Larsen has a diverse work experience in communications, public relations, and marketing. April is currently working at Zywave as the Head of Communications since February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Team Lead for Marketing Communications & Strategic Partnerships at Zywave from January 2020 to February 2021. April also worked as a Public Relations Manager at Zywave from March 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining Zywave, April was an Account Supervisor for Earned Media at Hoffman York, a full-service advertising agency, from March 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they led earned media efforts for multiple global B2C, B2B, and non-profit brands.

April's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Public Relations at z2 Marketing, a boutique branding agency, from June 2010 to March 2017. April led PR and social media initiatives for both B2B and B2C clients, overseeing strategy, content development, and media relations.

April began their career at Bader Rutter & Associates as an Account Executive in Public Relations from December 2007 to June 2010.

April Larsen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a focus on Strategic Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
