Zillow President Jeremy Wacksman will become the company’s new COO, and Susan Daimler will take over its President. The company announced that the executive promotions are part of an organizational realignment, as the online real estate company hopes to centralize its product, partner, engineering, and operations teams.

As COO, Wacksman will be responsible for creating more connectivity among Zillow’s lines of business as the company seeks a greater focus on end-to-end customer experience, including solutions for buyers, sellers and renters.

Wacksman has been with the company since 2009 and most recently served as president of Zillow. He also served as CMO from 2015 to 2018. Before that, Wacksman brought his experience working at software companies such as Microsoft and Trilogy. He will continue to report to Zillow Group CEO and co-founder Rich Barton.

As president of Zillow, Daimler will report directly to Wacksman and be responsible for an integrated product team for buyers and sellers, which seeks to institutionalize the company’s customer focus as Zillow grows. She will continue to oversee the Premier Agent business, a team she has led since 2018, which the company says has driven record profitability. She also will continue to manage StreetEasy, a mobile real estate marketplace for listings in New York City, and the corporate relations function.

Daimler previously served as general manager at StreetEasy, and initially joined Zillow in 2012 after the company’s acquisition of Buyfolio, a co-shopping platform she co-founded.

"I have full confidence that Jeremy and Zillow's senior leadership are now organized to deliver on an integrated customer transaction experience,” Barton said. “I’m delighted to have Susan and Jeremy as key parts of Zillow's top-notch team of leaders, and I've never been more excited about our future."
