After decades in leadership roles at companies like Cigna, Foley launched Belong to support regional payers in delivering better care to Medicare Advantage and Dual-Eligible members, populations often stuck navigating a maze of fragmented services.
Belong’s approach is both tech-enabled and deeply personal—integrating medical, behavioral, and social support under one coordinated care model. In just a few years, it’s partnered with local health plans and health systems, providing the behind-the-scenes infrastructure (and brainpower) needed to launch new insurance offerings tailored to complex patients. With $40 million raised in Series A funding from NEA and Maverick Ventures, Belong is growing fast—but keeping its focus on compassionate care and community-first impact.
