Palo Alto Networks Expands Management Team

Cybersecurity giant Palo Alto Networks announced today that it’s expanding its management team, promoting Amit Singh into the role of Chief Business Officer and BJ Jenkins into the role of President, effective immediately.

Singh was formerly VP of Sales at Oracle, where he worked for over 18 years. In March 2010, Singh left Oracle to join Google, where he served as President of Google Cloud for six years, then VP of Business and Operations, VR/AR for two years. He left to join Palo Alto Networks in November 2018, holding the position of President. Now, in his new role, Singh will focus on improving customer relationships and partnerships.

"As complex organizations see the benefit in a platform approach to cybersecurity, we are seeing a significant increase in large deals," Singh said in a press release. "Building strategic relationships with these customers is a passion of mine, as is helping our business units that drive our performance. I'm excited to concentrate on this to bring us further success."

Succeeding Singh as President is BJ Jenkins. Jenkins was previously the CEO of Barracuda Networks, where he has served for almost nine years. He has also worked at Dell EMC, where he held leadership roles in marketing and sales. The Harvard graduate currently sits on the board of SumoLogic and Generac Power Systems.
