Executive Moves

Condé Nast’s search for a top editor at Teen Vogue is officially over. The company has named Alexi McCammond, a political reporter for Axios, to lead the magazine as its new Editor-in-Chief. Source | Full Story

Sony Pictures Entertainment announced that Ravi Ahuja has been named Chairman, Global Television Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment Corporate Development, effective March 15, 2021. Source | Full Story

Univision has appointed Beatriz Pedrosa-Guanche as senior VP of corporate communications. Source

Cointelegraph has hired Elissa Shevinsky as the company's new Chief Technology Officer. Before joining the blockchain-focused media platform she served as head of product at Brave and CEO of Soho Token Labs. Source

Disney’s Freeform has hired Joe Ortiz as SVP of Content Marketing. Ortiz joins Freeform from NowThis. Source

Sony Music Publishing announced the promotion of Tom Foley to Senior Vice President, Worldwide Portfolio Management and Analysis. Previously, Foley held the position of VP of North American Royalty Administration. Source

DAZN has named Kevin Mayer as the streaming service’s new Chairman. Mayer previously worked at Disney and helped launch Disney+. Source

Condé Nast has appointed Helen Estabrook as Head of Development & Production for Features and Scripted Series. Previously, Estabrook had worked independently at her own company, A Thousand Ships. Source

MediaCom announced that Liza Davidian has been named EVP of Investment & Activation, and Yorlene Goff has been named Executive Director, People. They will both join the executive committee and report to Sasha Savic, U.S. CEO of MediaCom. Source

REVOLT, the leading Black-owned media company founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs, has appointed Detavio Samuels as CEO, and Colin McIntosh as COO and CFO. Source

LiveXLive Media revealed that Andy Vick has been named Head of Programming and EVP of StudioOne, LiveXLive's's newly-formed StudioOne content division. Previously, Vick was President of Virtual Reality and Immersive Entertainment at STX Entertainment. Source

MetaMedia announced the promotion of Frank Bryant to COO. Prior to his promotion, Bryant served as MetaMedia’s Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International. Source
