Beeline, a technology solution provider for managing the extended workforce, announced Rodrigo Alcaine has joined as SVP and Head of North America Sales and Operations for JoinedUp, its high-volume workforce division. He last worked as VP and Head of Technology and Science at Adecco US.

Diligent, a SaaS governance, risk, and compliance provider, has hired Ricardo Moreno as SVP of Worldwide Partnerships. He will also lead commercial growth for Latin America. Moreno joins from Zendesk.

WorkFusion, a top provider of industry-specialized Intelligent Automation software, named Adam Famularo as the company’s new CEO.Prior to joining WorkFusion, Famularo served as chief executive officer at erwin Inc., recently acquired by Quest.

Spiff, a sales commission software provider, has selected Raphael Bres as its Chief Product Officer. Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at Tradeshift.

FloQast, a provider of workflow automation software for accountants, has appointed Razzak Jallow as its CFO. Jallow had served as the VP of Finance at Looker.

Aerospace & Defence

Virgin Galactic announced that Aparna Chitale will join on September 30, 2021 as its Chief People Officer. She most recently served as VP of Human Resources at Disney Parks Experiences and Products. Read more

Justworks, an HR tech company, announced that Natalie Miranda joined the company as VP of Customer Success. She joins Justworks from LinkedIn.

Fintech

Robinhood has announced that Johann Kerbrat will step up from his role as Robinhood Crypto’s Head of Crypto Engineering to become the CTO for the brokerage platform’s crypto subsidiary. Read more

Robinhood has selected Benjamin Melnicki as the new Chief Compliance Officer of Robinhood Crypto. Melnicki had previously been the compliance chief at Grayscale Investments, a digital asset management firm. Read more

Locality Bank IO, a digital-first community bank, has named Michael Lundy as Director of Loan Operations, Cindy Sheppard as Chief Risk Officer, and George Edward Bishop as SBA Director.

Treasury Prime, a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) company, has appointed Sheetal Parikh as Associate General Counsel and VP of Compliance Solutions. Prior to joining Treasury Prime, Sheetal was VP of Legal & Compliance at Synapse.

Vesttoo, a marketplace for Life and P&C insurance-based risk transfer and investments, named Daniel Butzbaugh as VP, Catastrophe (CAT) Markets. He previously worked at Stonybrook Capital as VP and Head of the Industry Loss Warranty Desk.

Plastiq, a smart payments platform for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), appointed Kerry Hatch, a longtime American Express exec, as its new President.

Ed-Tech

Skillsoft, a corporate digital learning company, has appointed Kristi Hummel as Chief People Officer. Hummel most recently served as a SVP of Human Resources at Dell Technologies.

Tilt 365, a strengths assessment and team development startup, announced Erika Bill-Peter was appointed as Chief Learning Officer. She has previously served as an OD consultant for external firms as well as in-house at Bose Corporation.

Internet

Facebook has announced it will promote Andrew “Boz” Bosworth to fill the shoes of outgoing CTO Mike Schroepfer, who will become the company’s first Senior Fellow in 2022. Bosworth, is currently head of Facebook Facebook Reality Labs. Read more

ReserveBar, a premium and luxury spirits e-commerce company, announced that Brian Mehta has been appointed as the company's Chief Marketing Officer. Mehta joins from Trading Technologies, where he served as CMO.

Transportation Tech

TEZ Technology, an app-free parking industry software developer, announced the hiring of Todd Dorsey, as Chief Revenue Officer. Current CRO Steve Resnick, will transition to the newly created role of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

Insurtech

Bolttech has selected Rob Bauer as its newGroup Chief Managing General Agent Officer. He was most recently Managing Director and Head of the Sharing Economy and Mobility group at Marsh.

eHealth, an online health insurance marketplace, announced that Fran Soistman has been appointed CEO. Soistman previously served as an EVP at CVS Health and President of Government Services for Aetna following its acquisition by CVS Health.

Insurium, a cloud-based core software platform for the commercial insurance industry, has selected Jeremy Williams as its next CEO. Williams previously served as COO and VP of Product & Technology for Tropics Software Technologies.

Vericred, a platform powering digital quote-to-card experiences in health insurance and benefits, has named John Carson as Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining Vericred, Carson was CRO at Flores & Associates.

Breathe Life, a hybrid life insurance distribution solutions provider, has appointed Carlos Benfeito as CTO. He brings experience leading tech teams at EIS Group, Element AI, Intact, and AXA.

Health Tech

BioSymetrics, an AI-powered drug discovery company, has appointed Stacie Calad-Thomson as Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Drug Discovery, Matt Fusco as COO, and Amanda Guisbond as VP of Marketing and Communications.

ConsejoSano, a health equity-focused engagement company, has named Josh Siegel as its new CTO. Siegel was previously the SVP of software engineering at Inovalon.

Quartet Health, a technology and services company that partners with health plans and systems revealed four strategic new hires: Christina Mainelli was named as COO, Anay Patel is the new Head of Corporate Development & Strategic Planning, Chris Hendry was selected as VP of Patient Operations, and Shannon Jacobs has joined as VP of Market Operations.

Lumeon has hired Breht Feigh as the care journey orchestration company’s new CFO. Feigh most recently served as the CFO of Press Ganey Associates.

IT

Cohesity, a next-gen data management provider, announced the appointment of Kevin Delane as CRO. Prior to joining Cohesity, Delane was VP of Worldwide Sales at Pure Storage. Read more

Cyxtera, a data center colocation and interconnection services provider, has added Greer Aviv as SVP of Investor Relations. She previously led the investor relations efforts for Iron Mountain and CoreSite.

Kaloom, an automated cloud-native edge center networking software solution provider, revealed that Neeloy Bhattacharyya has joined the company as VP of Customer Experience. Bhattacharyya is the former Director of Systems Engineering with Dell Technologies.

Legal Tech

Brightflag, the AI-powered legal operations management platform, named Ingrid Wallace from Boxever as VP of People and Michael Scarpelli from PwC as VP of Finance.

Cybersecurity

SentinelOne, an autonomous cybersecurity platform company, has hired Rob Salvagno as SVP of Corporate Development. He joins from KKR & Co. Inc. where he was a Managing Director in charge of investing in growth stage tech companies.

SentinelOne has named Keenan Conder as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. He joins SentinelOne from Tableau Software where he was EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Socure, a digital identity verification and fraud solutions provider, announced Scott Slipy is joining the company as its Chief People Officer. Slipy has previously held executive roles at Microsoft, Cisco, and UnitedHealth Group.
