Workplace Tech

SupportLogic, a proactive Support Experience (SX) platform, appointed Nick Tarnoff as VP of Finance and Liz Bronson as VP of People. Previously, Tarnoff led finance at SAP SuccessFactors and Bronson ran a consulting company that helped tech startups refine their hiring processes.

Databook, an enterprise customer intelligence platform, announced that Bruno Fonzi has been named the company’s VP of Engineering. Fonzi previously led the MuleSoft Composer application development team at Salesforce.

Payscale, a provider of compensation data, software and services, announced that CEO Scott Torrey has decided to step down, effective immediately. Alex Hart, the former CEO of 2Checkout, will succeed Torrey as CEO.

Omnipresent, a global employment services partner, named Tucker Dearth as its CFO. Dearth was previously the CFO at DataGuard and the co-founder and COO of CarePod.

Fintech

Drip Capital, a digital cross-border trade finance platform for small and medium businesses (SMBs), named Rahul Nath as its new Product Head. He comes to Drip Capital from Google, where he worked on the Google Pay app.

RoadSync, a digital financial platform for the logistics industry, named Chris Forshay as Chief Revenue Officer.

FarmTogether, an investment platform connecting investors to U.S. farmland, hired Ranjan Seetharama as its Head of Engineering and Boyd Corkins as its Head of Farmland Asset Management. Seetharama previously worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Roku, while Corkins was the COO at Hancock Farmland Services.

Finitive, a data-driven private credit marketplace, hired Jon Burlinson as Chief Information Officer and Joshua Masia as Chief Product Officer. Previously, Burlinson was the CTO of CRE Simple and Masia was Head of Data & Analytics at iCapital.

Kasisto, digital experience platform provider for the financial services industry, selected Lindsay Soergel as its Chief Customer Experience Officer. Prior to joining Kasisto, Soergel held executive level positions at NCR, Equifax, and Deluxe.

InsurTech

Flume Health, a health plan administration platform, announced that Andrew MacGill has joined the company as VP of Product.

Transportation Tech

Lordstown Motors has appointed former Ford, BMW, and GM exec Edward T. Hightower as President, replacing Rich Schmidt who has stepped down. The company also appointed Shea Burns as SVP of Operations and promoted COO Jane Ritson-Parsons to Chief Commercial Officer.

Passport, a transportation software and payments company, named Kino Becton as VP of Government Relations.

Real Estate Tech

RentPath, a marketing technology and services platform for the rental industry, named Sean Barry as COO. He previously served as President of Updater and CEO of Bridgevine.

Frontpoint, a do-it-yourself ("DIY") home security and smart home technology provider, hired Derek Carder as its COO. He previously served as VP of Customer Experience and Technical Operations at Geotab.

Climate Tech

Intellihot, a clean technology company appointed Santanu (Sean) Debnath as its Chief Revenue Officer. Before joining Intellihot, Sean led the sales and marketing team at Viega LLC.

Education Tech

Torch, a people development platform offering integrated coaching, mentoring, and learning software, hired Jim Bell as Chief Marketing Officer and Matt Kessler as Chief Revenue Officer. Bell was most recently CMO of Glint and Kessler led global sales at Glassdoor.

E-Commerce

Poshmark appointed Rodrigo Brumana as CFO, effective December 1. He joins from Amazon, where he served as CFO of Amazon Private Brands.

Wish announced that Piotr Szulczewski will step down as CEO no later than February 2022. He will remain on the Company’s board of directors.

Stitch Fix named Linda Aiello as its new Chief People & Culture Office. She joins Stitch Fix from Salesforce, where she served as EVP of Employee Success Business Partners.

Sendoso, which gives companies ways to engage with customers throughout the buyer's journey, hired Alex Ortiz as Chief Marketing Officer and Grady Leno as Chief Product Officer.

Narvar, a post-purchase experience provider, hired Anisa Kumar as the company's first Chief Customer Officer. Most recently, she ran the US direct-to-consumer business for Levi's.

Fabric, a headless commerce platform, named Amazon veteran Chandra Shekar Neti as VP of Software Engineering, APAC.

Health Tech

Talkspace, a virtual behavioral healthcare company, announced that Co-Founder Oren Frank has decided to step down from his position as CEO and Board Member. Chairman Douglas Braunstein has been named Interim CEO. Additionally, Talkspace Co-Founder and Head of Clinical Services Roni Frank is stepping down from her role and from the Board of Directors.

Medtronic has hired Bob Hopkins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its Head of Global Strategy and Mei Jiang from Iron Mountain as its Global Digital Innovation Leader, effective immediately.

DarioHealth, a digital therapeutics company, appointed Jerrod Helms to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer.

Care Angel, an AI and voice-enabled nurse assistant technology provider, appointed Nick Martin as the company's Chief Information Officer. Most recently, Martin served as CTO for DuPage Medical Group.

IT

Yext, an AI search company, has hired Geoffrey Glaser as Senior Director of Federal, State & Local Government and Education (SLED), and Healthcare. It also has hired Vernon Aldershoff as Senior Director of Public Sector Sales.

Akamai Technologies promoted its Chief Information Officer, Mani Sundaram, to EVP & General Manager of the Security Technology Group (STG) and that Kate Prouty is being promoted to CIO.

Akamai Technologies revealed that its President and current General Manager for STG, Rick McConnell, will be leaving Akamai to become CEO of a public company.

JumpCloud announced that Scott Engstrom has joined as SVP of Engineering. He comes from Splunk, where he was VP of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Site Reliability Engineering.

Zenoti, a cloud platform provider for salons, spas, medspas and fitness studios, appointed four new executive team members: Juliet Lim as Chief Legal Officer; Namratha Roy as Chief People Officer; Jared Jost as VP of Marketing; and Patrick Barry as General Manager.

SPINS, a data and technology provider serving the Health and Wellness industry, added Gotham Majumdar as Chief Product & Technology Officer, and Dan Buckstaff as Chief Marketing Officer.

Cybersecurity

Optiv, a cyber advisory and solutions provider, appointed retired Army Col. Nichoel "Nycki" Brooks as Director of Federal Services.

Secret Double Octopus, a passwordless authentication vendor, announced Yair Averbuch as its new CFO. Averbuch has been the CFO of several successful companies in Israel and took Caesarstone, a global leader of kitchen countertop products, public on NASDAQ.

Digimarc, the creator of the Digimarc Platform for digital identification and detection, recruited Ken Sickles as Chief Product Officer. Sickles joins from ThinkTank, where he was CTO and Chief Product Officer.

Internet

Shutterstock has promoted its current SVP of Product, Meghan Schoen, as its new Chief Product Officer.

Jobcase, a social platform dedicated to empowering and advocating for workers, appointed Kathleen Patton as its General Counsel. Most recently, Patton served as General Counsel at CarGurus.

Food Tech

Coravin, a wine technology company, announced today the appointment of Mikkel Lindsted as its Vice President & General Manager of Coravin APAC. Lindsted recently served as the Managing Director of North Asia for the Campari Group.

Logistics Tech

Turvo, a collaboration application designed for the supply chain, announced that it has named Ron Richardson as Chief Revenue Officer. Richardson joins Turvo from FourKites, where he was SVP of Americas.

Anchore, a software supply chain security provider, announced that Josh Bressers has joined the company as VP of Security. Bressers brings experience leading product security teams at Elastic and Red Hat.

Connectivity

Verizon named Sam Hammock as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective December 1, 2021. Hammock was previously the Head of Talent and Learning at American Express.

Omnispace, a mobile communications company building a global hybrid network, hired Lynne Dorward as VP of Regulatory Affairs and Molly Gavin as VP of International Regulatory and Spectrum Policy.

Aerospace

Voyager Space named Dr. Amela Wilson as CEO of its commercial space services subsidiary Nanoracks and revealed that fromer Nanoracks CEO Jeffrey Manber will join Voyager Space as President of International and Space Stations.
