Workplace Tech

Moloco, a leader in machine learning and growth solutions for performance marketers, hired Ryan Goldman as VP of Marketing. Most recently, he was the VP of Product Marketing at SoundCloud.

Unit4, an enterprise cloud software provider for people-centric organizations, appointed Tom Ascroft as Chief Information Security Officer. He joins Unit4 from the University of Surrey where he was also CISO.

Cornerstone, an adaptive HR solutions provider, selected Srinivasa (Srini) Ogireddy as its new CTO. He initially joined Cornerstone two years ago as the EVP of Engineering, Platform & Cloud.

Workato, an enterprise automation company, picked Massimo Pezzini as its Head of Research, Future of the Enterprise. He was previously a VP at Gartner.

Fintech

Varo Bank, an all-digital, nationally chartered bank, named Jon Alferness as its new Chief Product Officer. Most recently Alferness served as the VP of Rideshare at Lyft.

LendingClub, a leading digital marketplace bank, named Balaji Thiagarajan as the company's new CTO. Prior to joining LendingClub, he was CTO and SVP, Product Development at Change Healthcare.

SmartAsset, an online destination for financial information and advice, named Meghan Lapides as its Chief People Officer. Prior to joining SmartAsset, she served as SVP of People at Vimeo.

Marqeta, a modern card issuing platform, appointed Mike Milotich as the company’s new CFO, effective February 22, 2022. He most recently served as the SVP of Investor Relations and Corporate Finance at Visa.

Health Tech

AliveCor, a personal electrocardiogram (ECG) technology startup, named Patricia Baran as SVP of Healthcare Americas. Most recently, Baran was VP of Health Systems, Central Region at Teladoc Health.

MRO, a clinical data release platform in healthcare, announced that Jason Brown has joined the company as its new CEO. Most recently, Brown served as CEO of Discovery Health Partners.

PeraHealth, a software company that uses the Rothman Index to transform the clinical and financial efficiency of healthcare, hired Carolyn Minnock as its Chief Growth Officer. Minnock previously worked at PeraHealth but left in January 2021 to serve as an Enterprise Strategic Account Executive for Salesforce.

Ed Tech

Noodle, an online learning network, picked Allison Nugent as its Chief People Officer. Prior to joining Noodle, Nugent was the Corporate Human Resources Principal of Relationship and Programs Operations for an aeronautic-defense organization.

Frog Street, a provider of comprehensive early childhood education solutions, named Lee Ramsayer, formerly EVP of Global Sales at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, as CEO.

E-Commerce

Gopuff, a platform for immediate delivery of everyday needs, appointed Bryan Batista as SVP of International. He was most recently CEO of Rentalcars.com and SVP of Booking.com's Trips Division.

Fabric, a headless commerce platform, hired Stacy Saal as the company's first COO. Saal previously worked as the General Manager, COO and BizTech Leader of Amazon's Prime Air division.

Firework, a livestream commerce and shoppable video platform provider, picked Drew Cashmore as its new Head of Global Marketing. Before joining Firework, Drew spent over a decade in a variety of leadership positions at Walmart.

Diebold Nixdorf, a connected commerce company, has promoted Octavio Marquez as its President and CEO effective March 11, 2022. He previously served as the company’s EVP of Global Banking.

Logistics Tech

Truckstop.com, a freight rates & data, negotiation tools, and load board solutions platform, revealed that CEO Paris Cole announced his retirement effective on April 1, 2022. The company’s COO, Kendra Tucker, has been named as Cole's successor.

Cybersecurity

Deep Instinct, a cybersecurity company leveraging deep learning technology, selected Yariv Fishman as its VP of Product and Ofir Arkin as VP of R&D. Prior to joining Deep Instinct, Fishman held leadership positions at Microsoft and Arkin was the VP and General Manager of Forcepoint’s User and Data Protection business unit.

Vectra AI, a leader in AI-driven threat detection and response for hybrid and multi-cloud enterprises, promoted Willem Hendrickx from SVP of International to Chief Revenue Officer.

TrueFort, the zero-trust application protection company, announced Matt Hathaway has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. He previously served in brand leadership roles with Imperva, Carbon Black and Rapid7.

Appgate, a secure access company, named Leo Taddeo as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and President of Appgate Federal Division. Most recently, Taddeo was the CISO of Cyxtera.

IT

Tilson, a network development and information infrastructure services firm, revealed that Darrell Ingram has joined the company as COO and President. For the past seven years, Ingram has served as COO at Nexius.

Torch.AI, a leader in AI-powered, ultra-high-speed data processing, named Amy Bradshaw as CFO. Most recently, she served as CFO for Kansas City-based law firm, DiPasquale Moore.

Internet

DoSomething.org, a social change platform exclusively for young people, hired Adrianne Wright as its VP of Communications and Marketing. Most recently, Wright founded Rosie, a boutique storytelling agency.

Ably, an edge messaging platform that powers synchronized digital experiences in real time, appointed James Aley as CTO and Tim Buntel as Chief Product Officer. Aley joins Ably from Microsoft, where he was most recently Principal Group Engineering Manager on the Microsoft Mobile Experience Business Group. Most recently, Buntel was Chief Product Officer at CloudZero.

Brightcove, an online video platform, appointed Marc DeBevoise as CEO and Board Director. He previously served as the Chief Digital Officer of ViacomCBS.

Outbrain, a recommendation platform for the open web, appointed Paul Knegten as its Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining Outbrain, Knegten was CMO of Beeswax.

Connectivity

Quality One Wireless, a wireless distribution, fulfillment, product aggregation, device engineering, and forward & reverse logistics company serving wireless carriers and MVNOs, promoted Mick Olinik from VP of Marketing Technology to the role of Chief Information Officer.

Proptech

Yembo.ai, a leader in using AI for virtual home surveys, named Andrew Bowman as its VP of Customer Success for Insurance. Prior to joining Yembo, Andrew oversaw the Customer Success team at Eagleview Technology Corporation.

Entera, a platform for single-family real estate investors, selected Jeffrey Belanger as Chief People Officer and Alejandro Guerrero as the SVP of Growth.

IoT

Samsung has appointed Mark Benson as Head of SmartThings US. He previously served as Head of Product and Engineering at SmartThings.

Keyfactor, the machine and IoT identity platform for modern enterprises, today announced the appointment of Gail Joyce as Chief People Officer. She was previously the VP of Global Human Resources at Hyland Software.
