Workplace Tech

DocuSign, an agreement automation platform, appointed Iesha Berry as its first Chief Diversity and Engagement Officer. She was previously the ​​Head of Global Diversity & Inclusion Business Management and Client Engagement at Microsoft.

Pipedrive, a global sales-first CRM and intelligent revenue management platform for small businesses, named Tanya Channing as its Chief People & Culture Officer. Most recently, Channing worked as Chief HR Officer for the Merchant Services business unit at Nets.

Board International, a Decision-Making Platform provider, appointed Louis Peacock as Chief Customer Officer. Peacock previously was the Strategic VP of Global Customer Success at Anaplan.

Muck Rack, a Public Relations Management (PRM) platform, announced that it appointed Linda Zebian as Director of Communications. Zebian joins Muck Rack from The New York Times, where she served as a freelance Communications Advisor.

Buck, an integrated HR, pensions, and employee benefits consulting, technology, and administration services firm, picked David Eisenberg to lead the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) business.

HireEZ, an AI-powered outbound recruiting talent platform, announced that Arthur Stein has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer and Mike Poarch has joined as Chief Revenue Officer.

Fintech

Built has hired Scott Traina, a Principal from Boston Consulting Group, as its VP of Strategy and Operations. The company also named former Brex Group Product Manager Mike Daly as its VP of Payments.

Persefoni, a Climate Management & Accounting Platform for enterprises and financial institutions, revealed that Kristina Wyatt joined the company as Deputy General Counsel and SVP of Global Regulatory Climate Disclosure. Kristina joins Persefoni from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, where she served as Senior Counsel for Climate and ESG to the Director of the Division of Corporation Finance.

Addepar, a leading software and data platform purpose-built for investments, today announced that Eric Daniels has joined the company as CFO. Prior to joining Addepar as CFO, Daniels was the CFO at Real Capital Analytics.

Insurtech

Sure, a global insurance technology company, today announced the promoted Cassi Conrad from Head of Insurance to Chief Insurance Officer.

Health Tech

Labster, a platform for virtual labs and interactive science, appointed Lenny Izzo as Chief Revenue Officer. Most recently, Izzo served as Head of Revenue for LeafLink.

Vineti, a digital platform of record for personalized therapeutics, appointed Ann Klein as CEO. Before joining the company, Ann served as Chief Product Officer for Tact.ai.

EdTech

Chegg, a student-first connected learning platform, named Dr. Nina Huntemann as its first Chief Academic Officer. Prior to joining Chegg, Huntemann served as VP of Learning at edX.

E-Commerce

Waitr, an on-demand food ordering and delivery company, named Matthew Coy as its Chief Information Officer. Coy joins Waitr from Donatos Pizza, where he served as VP of Technology.

ShoppingGives, the e-commerce platform that creates purposeful and profitable relationships between brands and nonprofits, announced Nick Lucero has joined as SVP of Product. Most recently, he served as VP of Product Management & Advanced Analytics at GoHealth.

Rover, an online marketplace for pet care, has tapped Charlie Wickers, Rover’s VP of Finance, to succeed Tracy Knox as CFO. Knox will continue as CFO through August 2022.

Transportation Tech

Passport, a transportation software and payments company, revealed that Brian Pagels has been appointed SVP of Sales and Bengt Horsma was named as SVP Payments. Pagels was most recently with the VP of Sales at CentralSquare Technologies and Horsma was the VP of Digital Payments and Innovation at Synchrony Financial.

Verra Mobility, a provider of smart mobility technology solutions, appointed Craig Conti as EVP and CFO, effective April 11, 2022. Cont was previously the CFO for ITW's welding business.

TuSimple, announced co-founder and CTO Xiaodi Hou will succeed Cheng Lu as President and CEO.

Cybersecurity

Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance company, announced that its EVP and GM for Security Products and Services, Ashan Willy, has been appointed interim CEO, effective immediately. Former CEO Gary Steele will stay on until March 19, 2022.

Query.AI, a security investigations control plane provider for enterprises, announced Neal Bridges as its Chief Information Security Officer. Before joining Query.AI, Bridges held CISO positions at INE and Mondelēz International.

Cybrary, a training platform for cybersecurity professionals, added Rob Usey as CTO, Charlie Booth as CFO, Mary Fad as VP of Marketing, and Tonya Butler as VP of People.

Phosphorus Cybersecurity, a provider of full-scope security for IoT devices, appointed Brian Contos to the position of Chief Security Officer. He was previously the CISO at Verodin, Chief Security Strategist at Imperva and CISO at ArcSight.

IT

Splunk, a data platform leader for security and observability, picked Gary Steele as its new CEO, effective April 11, 2022. Steele was previously the founding CEO of Proofpoint.

Virtana, a provider of AI-driven solutions for hybrid cloud management and monitoring, announced that Bob Kilbride joined the company as VP of Channels and Alliances. Prior to joining Virtana, Bob was Head of Channel Sales for cyber security startup Perimeter 81.

Visier, a people analytics and planning company, today announced the appointment of Fionna Song as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Fionna previously served as Visier's Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations

Connectivity

Intelsat, an integrated satellite and terrestrial network operator, has tapped David Wajsgras, as its next CEO, effective April 4. Wajsgras succeeds Stephen Spengler, who has announced his plans to retire in October 2021.

Absolute Software, a leader in self-healing Zero Trust solutions, today announced a transition of its chief financial officer role, effective today. Current CFO, Steven Gatoff, is departing to pursue other opportunities. Ron Fior will serve as interim CFO while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.

WeLink, a fixed wireless broadband provider, announced that John Paul Farmer has joined the company as Chief Innovation Officer and President of WeLink Cities. Farmer joins WeLink after serving as the CTO of New York City.

Proptech

Zavvie, a proptech startup, has named Venkatesh Baglodi, a former engineering leader at Alexa AI and AWS AI at Amazon, as its CTO.

Legal Tech

SurePoint Technologies, a cloud provider of practice management solutions to law firms, has announced the appointment of Tim Radaich as Chief Revenue Officer. Most recently, Radaich was the VP of State & Local Government at Thomson Reuters

Internet

AlphaSense, the leading market intelligence and search platform, announced today the appointment of Melissa Sargeant as Chief Marketing Officer. She was most recently the CMO of Litmus.
