Executive Moves

Amazon announced that Adam Selipsky will replace Andy Jassy as the CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS) effective May 17th. Source | Full Story

ByteDance hired Shou Zi Chew as CFO. Chew was previously SVP at Xiaomi Corp. Source | Full Story

Google has announced that Chris Ciauri, Google Cloud's EMEA Sales Chief, will leave the company. Source | Full Story

Okta hired Kendall Collins as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Most recently, Collins was an Executive in Residence at Accel. Source

Facebook’s Chief Revenue Officer, David Fischer, has decided to part ways with the company after over a decade of service. He will leave the social media giant later this year after selecting his replacement. Source | Full Story

The Trade Desk’s Chief Marketing Officer, Susan Vobejda, will be stepping down from her role in June. Ian Colley, VP of Communications and Editor-in-Chief, will serve as interim Chief Marketing Officer. Source

Zapier promoted Mike Knoop to President. Knoop was previously the Head of Research & Development. Source

Merkle hired Tracie Kambies as Global Head of Analytics and promoted Shirli Zelcer to Head of Analytics and Data of Merkle Americas. Kambies was previously a Principal at Deloitte. Source

Cogito hired Doug Wendell as its new CFO. Prior to joining Cogito, Wendell was CFO at Quick Base. Source

Freshworks just hired Stacey Epstein as Chief Marketing Officer. Epstein was mostly recently Chief Marketing Officer and Customer Experience Officer at ServiceMax. Source

Confluent hired Cory Scott as Chief Information Security Officer and Melanie Vinson as Chief Legal Officer. Scott was previously Google’s Head of Security and Product Privacy for their Devices and Services division and Vinson was General Counsel and Board Secretary at Adaptive Insight. Source

Tableau promoted Mark Nelson as its CEO. Nelson was previously EVP of Product Development. Source

Observe.AI hired Jon Heaps as VP of Channel. Heaps was previously the VP of Global Cloud Distribution at Talkdesk. Source

LogMeIn named Michael Oberlaender as Chief Information Security Officer. Source

Acepodia appointed Jimmy Lai as CFO. Lai has over three decades of financial management and capital markets experience. Source

Nuvalent appointed Christopher Turner, as Chief Medical Officer. Turner was previously the VP of Clinical Development at Blueprint Medicines. Source

Futuri named Jason J. Sosa as Chief Technology Officer. Most recently, Sosa was CEO and Founder of Blackbox AI. Source

Yellowbrick Data hired Jonathan Reid as its Chief Revenue Officer. Reid was previously the SVP of Global Sales & Business Development at AppDirect. Source

Devo hired J.C. Vega as Chief Information and Security Officer, Lars Wiesner as SVP of Product Engineering and Operations, Kayla Williams as VP of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance, and Matt Westover as VP of North America Sales. Source

Zivaro hired Greg Klang as Chief Strategy Officer of Banking and Finance Vertical. Klang worked at Freddie Mac, Citi Group, Union Bank of Switzerland, and State Street over the past decade. Source

Metagenomi appointed Jian Irish as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Irish served as SVP of Global Head of Manufacturing at Kite Pharma. Source

DaySmart appointed Cristi Tobelmann as VP of Human Resources. Tobelmann previously worked at Barracuda Networks as its Director of Worldwide Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning. Source

Complia Health appointed Rich Berner ss CEO. Berner was previously the CEO at MDLIVE. Source

Semperis hired Coley Burke as Chief Revenue Officer. Burke joins the team from Zerto where he served as Chief Revenue Officer. Source

Bolster appointed Nick Vann as VP of Sales. Previously, Vann was the VP of Sales at Vulcan Cyber. Source

VuWall hired Pierre-Yves Desbiens as COO and CFO. Desbiens was previously the President at Financium Inc. Source

ExecOnline promoted current CFO, Michael Pickrum, to CFO and COO and hired Dani Cushion as Chief Marketing Officer. Cushion joined the team from Cardlytics where she served as Chief Marketing Officer. Source

Valtech hired Warren Cable as VP of Commerce for Client Business Strategy and Process and Tim Steele as VP of Commerce for Client Technology Architecture and Infrastructure. Prior to joining Valtech, Warren served as VP at Rogers Communications and Steele was the Director of Engineering at Express. Source

Securitize hired Dan Garzia as Chief Marketing Officer, Erin Sheehan as VP of Sales, Jay Proffitt as Chief Operating Officer of Securitize Markets and promoted Pat O'Mara to Chief Compliance Officer of Securitize, Scott Harrigan as CEO of Securitize Markets and Tom Eidt, General Counsel. Source
