Sergio Guerri De la Iglesia

Sergio Guerri De la Iglesia has a diverse range of work experience. Sergio started their career as a Graphic Designer at ALBANY ANTIQUES SL, where they designed various souvenir items such as mugs, license plates, ceramics, magnets, and plush toys.

Sergio then worked as an Architect at Egoin, where they were involved in the design, calculation, and fabrication of more than 10 projects utilizing CLT, MLE, and Ballon Frame structures. Sergio also managed the transportation and installation of the materials used.

As an independent Architect in 2021, Sergio took on different projects, including the design, management, and construction of the DAIBAI Skatepark in Gernika. Sergio utilized various construction techniques and materials to create wooden ramps.

In 2022, Sergio joined Academia Elizalde as a Professor of Structures for the Master of Architecture program at UPV/EHU. Sergio provided technical advice on project presentations and delivered structural and installation classes.

Most recently, Sergio joined 011h as a Building System Designer, where they are currently working.

Sergio Guerri De la Iglesia's education history begins in 2015 when they enrolled at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea to pursue a degree in Fundamentos de la Arquitectura. Sergio completed this program in 2020.

In 2018, Sergio attended Università degli Studi di Firenze where they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Architettura. This program was completed in 2019.

From 2020 to 2021, Sergio returned to Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea to pursue a Master en Estructuras, Construcción y Diseño en Madera, further expanding their knowledge and skills in architecture.

Finally, from 2020 to 2022, Sergio continued their education at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, this time focusing on a Master's degree in Architecture (MArch).
