Katherine Valente

Katherine Valente has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Katherine is currently working as the Director of Recruiting at 1-800Accountant since February 2022. Before that, they worked as a Recruitment Manager at the same company from June 2021 to March 2022.

Prior to their current position, Katherine worked as a Human Resources Manager/Recruiter at ERG Commercial Real Estate from March 2018 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing the company's HR operations, updating HR policies, managing the talent acquisition process, and sourcing candidates through various platforms.

Before that, Katherine worked at QSAC (Quality Services for the Autism Community) in different roles. From August 2017 to March 2018, they served as a Recruiter, sourcing talent and conducting initial phone screens and reference checks. From March 2016 to August 2017, they worked in Human Resources, handling full-cycle recruitment for the Nursing Department and assisting in the hiring process.

Earlier in their career, Katherine worked as a Coordinator-Administrative & Marketing at Hands on Companies from July 2015 to March 2016. Katherine was responsible for new business development, marketing initiatives, administrative support, and managing website functions for a sister company.

Katherine's work experience also includes a role as an Administrative Assistant at Resolutions Counseling from June 2014 to July 2015. In this position, they conducted psycho-social assessments, interviewed and screened applicants, and developed treatment plans for clients. Overall, Katherine has demonstrated expertise in recruiting, human resources, marketing, and administrative support throughout their career.

Katherine Valente has a strong educational background in psychology. Katherine first attended Queens College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Katherine then pursued further education at the same institution from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master's degree in Psychology.

In 2016 and 2017, Katherine expanded their knowledge by attending Southern New Hampshire University, where they obtained a certification in Human Resource Management.

Currently, Katherine is enrolled at Mercy College, pursuing a Certificate in Women in Leadership, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Katherine has also obtained a variety of certifications through LinkedIn. In 2020, they achieved certifications in Employer Branding to Attract Talent, Certification Prep: SHRM-CP, Excel Quick Tips, Recruiting Talent with Social Media, and Social Recruiting for Recruiters.
