Scott Clitheroe has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1997, they were the President and Co-Founder of Austin Hospital Physicians, PA. In 1998, they became a Hospitalist. In 2010, they were the Medical Director of Austin POD for IPC Healthcare, Inc. In 2013, they were the Medical Director for US Telehealth. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Medical Director for Hope Clinic Austin. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Medical Director for Traditions Health. In 2021, they became the Chief Medical Officer for 1 True Health, Inc. and in 2022 they became the President of Travis County Medical Society.
Scott Clitheroe received a BA in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin between 1984 and 1988. Scott then attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) between 1988 and 1992. Following that, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine between 1992 and 1995.
