Raymond Lucas

President Emeritus at 100 Black Men of America, Inc.

Raymond Lucas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Raymond started their career at IBM in 1976, where they held various technical, professional, and management positions. In 1993, they transferred to Eastman Kodak to help start Technology Service Solutions. Lucas returned to IBM in 1994 as the Mid Atlantic Region Manager for the Technology Service Solutions Group, later transitioning to Strategic Outsourcing as a Service Delivery Manager. After leaving IBM in 2008, they worked as a Management Consultant at PrimeStar Industries. In the same year, Lucas became the President of 100 Black Men of Maryland, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on mentoring, education, health, and economic development in the African American community. Raymond held this position until 2014, during which they also served as a President Emeritus and Executive Board member of 100 Black Men of Maryland, Inc. Additionally, Lucas worked as a MESA Specialist and MESA Howard County Regional Coordinator at Howard County Public School System, where they were responsible for managing and administering the Maryland MESA Program.

Raymond Lucas completed an Executive MBA Program in International Business at Loyola University Maryland from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University, where they studied from 1988 to 1998. Additionally, Raymond obtained certifications, including being a Standards for Excellence® Licensed Consultant from the Standards for Excellence Institute in October 2014 and becoming a Certified EQ Practitioner from Six Seconds in October 2013.
