Skylar Baker-Jordan

Skylar Baker-Jordan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in community engagement, writing, and mortgage processing. Currently serving as a Contributing Editor for Community Engagement at 100 Days in Appalachia since October 2021, Skylar also has extensive experience as a self-employed Freelance Writer since September 2009. Previous roles include Mortgage Loan Processor at Alpha Mortgage Corporation and Loan Coordinator positions at Wintrust Mortgage and Guaranteed Rate, where Skylar excelled in client management and loan processing. Skylar's leadership abilities were honed during tenure as Executive Vice President of the Student Government Association at Western Kentucky University, alongside supporting academic operations as an Undergraduate Assistant. Skylar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Creative Writing from Western Kentucky University.
